Outdoor jobs include: mowing the small front and back yards with manual mower, trimming bushes, weeding flower beds, and planting flower bulbs. Inside jobs include prepping walls for painting (removing electric covers, taping woodwork), painting interior rooms; washing windows; dusting, vacuuming, and general cleaning of living areas. Other tasks will include general maintenance such as filling cracks in concrete steps with concrete caulk.

Many Thanks for Big Fundraising Successes
April Show
The board and staff of Stopover would like to give a big thank you to David Hittle who hosted the 2008 April Show on Friday, April 25, all of the artists who donated the sales from their work to Stopover, and everyone who attended and purchase art. Over $1,000 was donated to Stopover to support services for teenagers and their families in crisis.
Homeward Bound
One thousand people came together on Sunday, April 27 in University Park in downtown Indianapolis to help raise over $60,000 to benefit 14 agencies serving the homeless population in the Indianapolis area.
With the help on numerous walkers and sponsors, Stopover raised over $4,000. All of the money raised goes directly to support services that Stopover provides such as emergency shelter, home-based counseling, and youth development programs. Thank you to all who walked and everyone who donated.
